Why come into therapy?
Life can be challenging and you may wonder to what extent it is you, or others that contribute to the conflicting thoughts, and feelings you experience. Getting caught up in dynamics where there is irresolvable unhappiness, self-sabotaging patterns, can create distress, along with anxiety and depression. This impacts on self-esteem, self-worth, identity and your sense of purpose. I believe this happens in the context of relationships, and so I take a relational approach.

- Parts of self, and inner conflicts
- Patterns which create lasting relational difficulties with self and others
Introduction:
My name is Lorraine Davis, and I am a relatonal integrative psychotherapist with an MSc Integrative Psychotherapy. A registered member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists) and I adhere to their ethical framework - visit UKCP. With over ten years experience of working with client's on a wide range of emotional difficulties.
I work with individuals inclusive of sexual orientation, culture, race, gender status, age and diversity. I have experience of working with clients who have struggled with complexity surrounding cultural and sexual identity.
I can also offer couples therapy for relationship and communication issues. I have an interest in relationship problems relating to adultery, infidelity, and the impact this has regardless of the role of the individual.
What is the cost - £65.00 per session. I am open to negotiation and fees can be tailored to your income, subject to my capacity. For couples work I charge £120.00 per session for 50/55 minutes. Location - Aspley Guise MK17 8DP, within easy reach of Milton Keynes, Bedford, Leighton Buzzard, Newport Pagnell, Ampthill, Flitwick and surrounding towns and villages. I can offer face to face work, online (Zoom or FaceTime), as well as over the telephone.
